Magnificent and historically important Tiffany presentation Civil War sword belonging to Medal of Honor winner Col. Jacob G. Frick. Accompanying this lot is the original walnut case, together with Col. Frick's Mexican War sword and other items.

 

Original Colt 1895 Spanish American War Gatling gun with original field carriage and original limber. Caliber 30/40 Krag, in firing condition.

 

Unique and historically important wooden patent model for R.J. Gatling's improved machine gun, May 9, 1865. This extremely important technological patent is one of only a few patents from this period whose principle is still in use today. The Vulcan guns on planes and helicopters utilize the same principle as Gatling's. An outstanding piece.

 

Rare and important historical Civil War corps flag from General Philip Sheridan's headquarters.

 

Gold-plated, engraved Walther semi-automatic pistol surrendered by Herman Goering at the time he was captured by Jewish Lt. Jerome Shapiro, along with Shapiro's U.S. Colt 45.

 

Unique 19th Century wooden patent models, one for the Billinghurst-Requa volley gun used in the Civil War, the other for the A. H. Townsend Improvement and Repeating Ordinance.

 

Double cased set, including Colt 1855 Root and Gustav Young-engraved Colt 1851 Navy.

Captain's Civil War Frock coat in exc. condition, M1851 medical captain gold bullion epaulettes, rare Louisiana state militia Kepi, CW Confed. infantryman's Brogans (shoes), Confed. CW Cpt's shoulder epaulettes, War of 1812 original belt w/buckle, 2 cartridge boxes and canteen.
