Blued finish with 5-1/2" bull barrel, partridge ramp front sight, with adjustable rear sight mounted to the slide, 2-piece, brass medallion thumb rest grips, one original 10-rd magazine. Accompanied by its original 2-piece maroon and gold cardboard box. Ser. 1361170. CONDITION: Excellent plus, appears to be new and unfired, retaining virtually all its original factory finish. 905. * LOT OF TWO SMITH & WESSON REVOLVERS. (1) Model 25-5. Cal. 45 Colt. Blued finish with 5-7/8" ribbed barrel, red ramp white outline sights, target trigger and hammer and oversize magnum grips. Accompanied by its original mahogany presentation case, tools, booklet and shipping carton. Ser. N658840. CONDITION: Appears to be new, unfired, retains virtually all its original factory finish with only a minor cylinder line. The case is excellent with a broken hinge. (2) Model 18-3. Cal. 22. Blued finish with 4" ribbed barrel with adjustable sight, target trigger and hammer, with magna grips. Accompanied by its original Bangor Punta 2-piece blue box, tool packet, booklet, extra 6" barrel, and pair of oversize magnum grips. Ser. 1K5893. CONDITION: Excellent plus, appears to be unfired, retaining virtually all its original factory finish, with only a faint cylinder line. The spare barrel and grips are also excellent to new. CONDITION: Excellent plus, appears to be unfired, retaining virtually all its original high luster blue with a small ding on the left side of the barrel, the grips are excellent, near perfect bore. 910. * UZI MODEL A SEMI-AUTO CARBINE. Cal. 9mm. Standard Uzi carbine with folding stock and black oxide finish with black composition forearm and grip panels. Accompanied by its original blue and gold foam lined shipping box containing sling, 25-rd magazine, original barrel, dummy barrel and instruction manual. Also accompanies is a loading tool in its original box and an Uzi nylon belt mag pouch containing two 32-rd magazines. Ser. SA18339. 911. * THOMPSON CENTER CONTENDER PISTOL WITH FOUR BARRELS. Cal. 45 Colt, 222, 357 Mag, 22 LR. Early 5-digit frame with etched cougar on each side, checkered walnut snap forearm with thumbrest walnut grip. The barrels are described as 10" octagon "NH.". The 22 barrel 10" octagon mounted with a Bushnell Magnum Phantom 2.5X scope. The original short Contender sight is in the case. The 22 long rifle barrel is 8-3/4" octagon with long sight. The 357 Mag barrel is 10" octagon with long sight. All are near new, some possibly unfired. Accompanied by an original wood Thompson Center presentation case with space for an extra barrel. Also accompanying is the original styrofoam box for the pistol indicating it came with the 357 Mag barrel. Two barrel styrofoam boxes also accompany. Ser. 39092. CONDITION: The frame appears to be new, possibly unfired, retaining virtually all its original factory finish. The barrels are as previously described, all appearing new, possibly unfired. 912. * COLT 125TH ANNIVERSARY COMMEMORATIVE SINGLE ACTION ARMY. Cal. 45 Colt. All blued finish with gold plated trigger, trigger guard, back strap, hammer, cylinder pin and ejector rod head. 7-1/2" barrel, smooth 2-piece gold medallion wood grips. Accompanied by its original mahogany, red velvet lined, presentation case. Ser. 3326AM. CONDITION: Excellent plus, retains mostly all its original finish with a faint cylinder line and heavy handling on the plating on the grip frame and hammer. 913. * SMITH & WESSON MODEL 29-2 DA REVOLVER. Cal. 44 Mag. Blued finish, 8-3/8" barrel, red ramp front sight, Redfield 1-piece base with rings and a Redfield 2-1/2X scope, target trigger and hammer with early Coke bottle diamond checkered magnum walnut grips. Accompanied by 36 rounds of ammunition, and a box containing shot capsules for reloading. There is another Remington ammo box containing 16 rounds of 30 Carbine ammunition. Ser. S228808. CONDITION: Excellent, retains 96-98% strong, bright, original finish, showing evidence of having been fired very little, with minor cylinder line, the cylinder and hammer retain most of their original bright case colors, the grips are sound with mostly a dull oil finish. 914. * SMITH & WESSON MODEL 53 DA REVOLVER. Cal. 22 Jet Magnum. Blued finish, 6" barrel, ramp front sight, the rear sight replaced with a Thompson Center Lobo 1-1/2X scope and mount. Standard trigger and hammer with diamond checkered magnum walnut grips. Accompanied by its original 2-piece Smith & Wesson box, six original cylinder inserts for 22 LR and 8 boxes of ammunition, some of which are reloads and empty brass. Ser. K442480. CONDITION: Very good to excellent, retains 95-97% strong bright original blue, with only light muzzle and edge wear. The grips show moderate to heavy wear, retaining little original finish, excellent optics, bright, shiny bore. The box is good to very good. 4-42863 JL266 (500-700)

915. * THOMPSON CENTER CONTENDER PISTOL. Cal. 223. Standard pistol frame with etched cougars on each side, 10" bull barrel, walnut forearm with rubber and walnut grip, sanded ramp front sight with barrel mounted TC 2.5X scope. Accompanied by an original Thompson Center maroon leather holster with "TC" embossed on the safety strap. Ser. 338573. CONDITION: Excellent to new, retains virtually all its original finish to metal and wood, appears not to have been fired. Holster is also excellent. 4-42619 (400-800)

916. * H & R HANDY GUN TARGET PISTOL. Cal. 22. Built on a modified single barrel shotgun action usually encountered as a smoothbore pistol. This little target pistol has a 12-1/4" tapered round barrel, partridge front sight with a sheet metal sight protector, adjustable rear sight for windage and elevation, similar to the sight found on the U.S.R.A. target model. The left side of the receiver marked "H. & R. Handy Gun". The right side with usual H & R markings, the forearm is a tiny piece of walnut secured with a single screw, the grip is one-piece checkered walnut, fancy finger rest trigger guard. Ser. 77. CONDITION: Excellent, retains 96-98% original finish overall with scattered tiny spots of pinpoint rust on the receiver. 917. * COLT 3RD MODEL WOODSMAN SPORT SEMI-AUTO PISTOL. Cal. 22 LR. Blued finish with 4-1/2" barrel, adjustable sights, with thumbrest Coltwood grips. Accompanied by one 10-rd magazine and an original chocolate brown hinged lid box, which has had the lid detached and the label has come loose and is inside the box. Also accompanied by an instruction pamphlet for a 2nd Model Woodsman. Ser. 176720-S. CONDITION: Excellent, retains 95-96% bright original blue, with muzzle and sharp edge wear, the grip frame is strong and bright showing little or no wear. Blued finish, 6" octagon to round barrel, replacement front sight with tiny Stevens semi-buckhorn rear sight, 2-piece smooth walnut grips. Ser. 50745. CONDITION: Very good plus, the barrel and receiver retain 93-95% original blue, thin on the sides of the frame, the trigger guard and front grip strap also thinned and turning gray, the hammer and trigger retain most of their niter blue finish. 920. * STEVENS MODEL 35 OFFHAND SINGLE SHOT PISTOL. Cal. 22. Blued finish, 8" octagon to round barrel, original ivory bead front sight with tiny Stevens V-notch rear sight. 921. * STEVENS MODEL 35 OFFHAND SINGLE SHOT PISTOL. Cal. 22. Blued finish, 6" octagon to round barrel, original Stevens front sight and semi-buckhorn rear sight, with broken elevator. It has two-piece smooth walnut grips with the initials "LPH" inlaid into the left grip. Ser. 48375. CONDITION: Very good to excellent, retains 92-94% strong original finish overall with muzzle and edge wear, a couple of scrapes on the barrel and thin finish on the buttcap. The trigger and hammer retain about 90% niter blue, the grips are sound with the right retaining 95-97% varnish and the left dull with a hand rubbed patina. 929. * COLT MODEL 1917 DA REVOLVER. Cal. 45 ACP. Usual configuration with 5-1/2" barrel, normal markings on the barrel and butt, 2-piece smooth wood grips with Lanyard loop in the butt. Ser. 55039. CONDITION: Very good, retains most of a black oxide finish, with a couple of dings to the front sight and other rough storage marks, probably an old refinish. 930. * COLT DA LIGHTNING REVOLVER. Cal. 38 Colt. Blue and case colored, 4-1/2" barrel, with birdhead rampant Colt black composition grips. Ser. 156901. CONDITION: Fair, dark brown patina overall, with a coating of heavy dried oil. CONDITION: Excellent, 95-97% original blue, edge wear with some minor spotting near the muzzle and two spots of rust near the right rear, excellent strong bore, dark in the grooves, excellent grips. (2) Smith & Wesson Model 59. Cal. 9mm. Blued finish, 4" barrel, red ramp, white outline sights, adjustable rear, smooth original cocobolo wood grips, one high cap mag. Ser. A245848. CONDITION: Excellent to new, appears unfired. (3) Duo Czech Pistol. Cal. 25 ACP. Blued finish, 2" barrel, Duo embossed basket weave black composition grips, dated "48" on the slide. Ser. 163234. Accompanied by an original hinged lid red cardboard box with "BROWNING" embossed on the lid. Ser. 410206. CONDITION: Excellent plus, probably unfired, retains virtually all its original finish, excellent bright shiny bore. (2) Walther PPKS. Cal. 380 ACP. Stainless steel with 3-1/4" barrel, black composition grips, thumbrest magazine, spare flat bottom magazine, with original box, manual, cleaning rod and a nylon holster. Ser. S136789. 938. *COLT POCKET POSITIVE REVOLVER. Ser. 91409. .32 Police cal., 2-3/8" barrel with proper box for another gun. CONDITION: 96% slightly dull blue. The gun shows no wear but poor storage. The grips are sharp with a tiny chip at the toe of the right grip. The bore is bright with a small spot of pitting on the left side. The box is slightly stained with two blown corners on the lid and some rubbing along the top edge. 4-42314 FS28 (400-600)

939. * SMITH & WESSON PERFECTED DA REVOLVER. Cal. 38 S&W. Nickel finish, 3-1/4" keyhole barrel, top break with cylinder latch on the left side of the frame, black monogram composition grips. Accompanied by its original black hinged lid box with directions in both the lid and bottom, with the original rare hang tag, having a date of March 1, 1917 and the price $18.50. Ser. 41270. CONDITION: Very good, retains most of its original nickel plating with heavy rust freckling and some loss of nickel on the right side. About 1-1/2" of the barrel, one area of the cylinder and the grip straps have turned milky. Appears unfired. The hammer and trigger retain virtually all of their original bright case colors. Pristine grips and bore. The box is very good with fuzzed corners and missing about 2" of the inside back part of the rim, which is included in the box. 4-42020 JR258 (300-600)

940. FRENCH MODEL 1871 BOLT ACTION CARBINE. Cal. 11mm. Unusual carbine with 19" octagon to round barrel, captive rammer, 2/3 length stock, with sling bar. The left flat of the barrel has Belgian proofs. Ser. 513. CONDITION: Good to very good, the metal cleaned to white with coarse sandpaper, the wood is sound and retains most of an old restored finish, mismatched bolt, missing rear sling bar screw, strong dark bore that should clean better. 4-42944 JL26 (600-1,000)

941. ANTIQUE ENFIELD LEE-METFORD BOLT ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 303 Brit. Ser. 242. CONDITION: Wood is severely sporterized, missing magazine and cut-off, dust cover accompanies. 4-42947 JL344 (100-200)

942. * ENFIELD NO. 4 MK I. Cal. 303 Brit. Made by Savage, marked "US Property". Ser. 1942. CONDITION: Excellent, possibly unfired. 4-42948 JL343 (100-200)

943. *LOT OF TWO KRAG RIFLE & CARBINE. Cal. 30-40. (1) 1896 carbine, 22" barrel, 600 yard sight, protective barrel band, "1896" dated cartouche. Ser. 30400. CONDITION: Good to very good, no original finish remains, having been cleaned bright with several spots of surface rust. The wood is sound with normal handling marks and dings and retains 30-40% original finish, excellent bright bore. (2) 1898 rifle, forearm cut just in front of the barrel band, with original handguard. Cartouche dated "1903". Ser. 455202. CONDITION: As noted, good, no original finish remains having been cleaned bright, the wood is sound and very good with minor handling and storage marks and one ding in the forearm, strong bright bore that should clean well. 4-42945, 4-42946 JL31 (400-700)

944. * LOT OF TWO MAUSER RIFLE & SHOTGUN. (1) Cal. 8 mm. Danzig Karabiner dated "1910". Standard 98 action with Karabiner style front end with stacking hook. Ser. 7454a. CONDITION: Good, the metal retains no original finish being a silvery gray patina. The wood is sound with usual nicks and dings and one or two grain checks, missing trigger guard lock screws, excellent bright shiny bore, mismatched. (2) Cal. 12 ga. Mauser action shotgun, 2-shot, 27" barrel with brass bead front sight, one-piece wood stock with "geha" embossed medallions in each side. Ser. 2343. CONDITION: Very good, matching, retains about 90% original blue with a deep wrench mark on the barrel, floorplate thin and gray. The stock is cracked top and bottom, otherwise retains some original finish, excellent bright shiny bore. 4-42951, 4-42952 JL27 (300-600)

945. BELGIAN PERCUSSION DAMACUS SHOTGUN DECORATED FOR THE EASTERN TRADE. "MOORE & Co LONDON" markings in sliver on barrel. German silver inlays of butterflies, flowers, leaves and vines on the stock. Replaced nipples. CONDITION: Missing seven leaf inlays and numerous wires. Otherwise good. 4-42413 (200-500)

946. SINGLE SHOT PERCUSSION FOWLER. Barrel marked "Liverpool". Lockplate, breech and hammer with sparse engraved decoration, barrel octagonal changing to round, fancy walnut stock with checkered grips and small silver inlay behind breech of reclining dog. Forend fitted with silver tip. CONDITION: Barrel and all metal with worn brown patina having light surface pitting scattered throughout. 4-42258 (300-500)

947. BELGIAN DELUXE DOUBLE BARREL PERCUSSION SHOTGUN. Cal 10 bore. Unusual shotgun with 31" coarse twist damascus bbls, marked in gold and silver over the chamber areas "Rubans" on the left barrel and "D'Acier" on the right barrel. Fitted with moderately engraved back action locks that have engraved hammers, top tang and long trigger guard. The unusual part stems from the eagle head carving on the belly of the stock, raised leaf carving around the toe and heel and also between the front tang of the trigger guard and the nose pipe, which also has a raised carved shield bearing a Swiss cross. Buttstock has a sweeping cheek piece on the left side with a scallop shell cap box inlet at the rear. The line of the cheek piece extends over the comb and down the right side of the buttstock and the entire right side is incise carved with grape vines and leaves. The right side of the wrist is hand stamped with the initials "LKB". Ser-none. CONDITION: Good plus, the barrels retain no original finish, but have most of their original pattern. The buttstock is sound and retains generous amounts of its original hand-rubbed finish. The ramrod is not original to this shotgun and is about 4" too short. The wedge is a replacement. 948. MAUSER MODEL 71/84. Cal. 11 mm. There is a mount about 2" from the muzzle, the purpose for which this cataloguer does not know, but a part of it is missing. Ser. 6317. CONDITION: Very good, the metal cleaned bright, and the wood with about all of a restored finish with minor handling and storage nicks and dings, the bolt handle is loose. 953. LOT OF TWO SINGLE SHOT RIFLES. (1) Remington Rolling Block Military Rifle. Caliber appears to be 30-40. Standard military configuration with 30’ barrel, full length forearm and short upper handguard, missing the rear sight, bayonet lug at the end of the forearm, replacement smooth steel buttplate. No serial number. CONDITION: About good, no original finish remains, the metal having been polished, with deep pitting around both ends of the receiver. The wood is sound but used hard with numerous nicks and dings and boogered screws. Strong bore that should clean very well. (2) Ballard Military rifle. Cal. 46 RF with dual ignition. 30" round barrel with the forearm cut down to 16-3/8", two bands remain. Straight stock with military style buttplate. Ser. 21045. CONDITION: As noted, good, the barrel retains 85-90% dark patina with light surface rust and a heavy coating of old dried oil. The receiver is dark silvered case colors with old dried oil and two or three spots of heavy surface rust. The remains of the forearm very good and the stock with one crack at the wrist. CONDITION: Fair, showing much wear with a heavy dark patina and light surface pitting. The sights appear to be replacements, the stock is sound showing light handling and use marks. Well worn bore with scattered light pitting. (2) Whitney-Howard Lightning Rifle. Cal. 44 RF. Deluxe rifle with 24" round barrel, pinched front sight, missing rear sight, checkered walnut stock with crescent buttplate. Ser. 1169. CONDITION: Fair to good, metal retains a silver gray patina with scattered fine surface pitting. The bottom of the barrel, 8" from the muzzle, has an old empty dovetail. The top tang has a heavy strap repair, the wood is sound and retains about 90% original varnish. Sometimes the action does not catch, or will not hold in cocked position. 955. LOT OF TWO CIVIL WAR ERA RIFLE & CARBINE. (1) Merrill Carbine 1st Type. Cal. 54 Perc. Round barrel, one-piece walnut stock, with brass patchbox and buttplate, missing the rear sight, barrel band, breech mechanism and the sling bar having been removed. Ser. 290. CONDITION: As noted, poor, heavy dark patina over the metal except the lock which has been cleaned bright. The stock is broken in a couple of places. The bore is dark with traces of rifling, the muzzle has been pounded. (2) Springfield Allin 2nd Type Conversion. Cal. 50 CF. 40" barrel, "1866" dated breech block with "1864" lockplate. 956. TOWER/BARNETT MODEL 1853 CAVALRY CARBINE. Cal. 58. Standard cavalry carbine of the type imported and used by the Confederacy during the Civil War. 21" round barrel, full stock, brass furniture with iron barrel band and sling bar. Lock with manufacturer’s name over "London" with a crown over "TOWER" behind the hammer. Usual "V" & "P" proofs on the barrel, the left side flat stamped "J. Fiel". CONDITION: About good, the wood with a hairline crack back of the top tang and in front of the lock has numerous nicks and dings, missing the front band and captive rammer. The ramrod channel has several deep bruises, the sling ring crudely attached with a peened over nail through the front screw and a square head bolt to the back screw hole. The chamber area and up the barrel with numerous hammer marks and heavy pitting, missing the nipple. The lockplate lightly pitted, the hammer will not hold at any position. 961. SPENCER SLIDE ACTION SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. Scarce Spencer pump gun, the first successful repeating shotgun, later purchased by Bannerman’s who continued manufacturing until 1907. This specimen is a Spencer made piece described as 30" plain barrel, tiny ribbed forearm, checkered semi-pistol grip stock with checkered black composition buttplate. Ser. 291. CONDITION: Good, the metal retains no original finish being a silver gray/brown patina, obviously having been cleaned a long time ago, with scattered light surface pitting. The forearm is missing one screw and the other is a replacement. The buttstock has several grain cracks emanating from the butt end and retains most of an old sanded refinish. 965. REMINGTON MODEL 1889 DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. Damascus shotgun with 28" barrels, checkered splinter forearm with black tip, case colored locks and receiver, highly figured buttstock, unfortunately shattered through the wrist and amateurishly repaired. Ser. 98479. CONDITION: As noted, otherwise very good, the barrels retain about 90% original Damascus pattern with good clear markings on the rib. The receiver retains 20-30% bright case colors with the balance turned silver, the left lock retains about 80% bright case colors, faded toward the front, the right lock retains about 50% case colors, bright in sheltered areas. Unfortunately the buttstock is broken through in two places, one of which has been crudely re-glued, the other crack near the receiver, repair was attempted using two brass plates, apparently when the damage occurred the trigger guard was broken and lost, the buttplate is missing about 1" of the toe. 978. KENTUCKY STYLE PERCUSSION POCKET PISTOL. Cal. About 52 Perc. Simple Kentucky style pistol with 4-7/8" flat top round barrel with small iron blade front sight, simple flat front action lock, one-piece soft wood stock, birdhead butt, with plain bird shaped sideplate, simple brass ramrod guide and a hickory rammer, plain brass trigger guard held with three early screws. CONDITION: Good, shows wear and some abuse, retaining 70-80% original finish with a repaired crack through the wrist and re-soldered trigger guard that still has a break in the lower tang. 981. UNMARKED UNDER HAMMER PERCUSSION POCKET RIFLE. Cal. 36 Perc. Heavy 8" octagon to round barrel with saw handle frame having an elliptical grip with wood side panels and wood grip panels. The grip frame is German silver, engraved on the back and also around the grip screw escutcheons. The rear of the grip is drilled for stock attachment, the rear sight is missing from the dovetail with a tiny lollipop sight screwed in to the rear of the frame. 982. FLOBERT PISTOL CONVERTED TO PERCUSSION. .22 cal., 9-1/2" octagonal barrel. Simply converted by altering the hammer and screwing a percussion nipple in the back end of the barrel. CONDITION: Barrel and action have been sanded partially removing the pitting and some of the engraving. The trigger guard and butt cap have blue under light surface rust. Steer horn powder horn, approximately 15-3/4" long, medium yellow patina, with dark carved spout end, rounded wooden plug, secured with square wooden pegs, having a short serrated edge extension at the large end with two holes for carrying strap. 984. LOT OF WINCHESTER LOADING TOOL, MOLD & PRIMED CASES. Cal. 25-20 Sngl Shot. 1894 pattern nutcracker style loading tool, missing the expander plug. Accompanied by a Winchester 25-20 bullet mold and a box of 50 Winchester new primed empty cartridge cases in a kraft paper box with over label stating "Non-mercuric Primers". CONDITION: The loading tool retains about 85% strong bright blue, the bullet mold 92-93% original blue, appears not to have been used. 985. HINGED-FRONT LEATHER CARTRIDGE BOX. Heavy black leather cartridge box, 7" long x 3-1/2" high x 1-5/8" thick, closure top strap, with brass escutcheon and stud, scalloped edge front with two brass hinges at the bottom and two belt loops on the back. The front is mounted with a 2-3/16" brass oval embossed with raised script letters "NG". The top has two crude cuts for some unknown reason. CONDITION: Dry, stiff, flexed closure strap. Leather covered tin box with sliding lid contains a revolving container with 32 holes for approximately 16 gauge shells. CONDITION: Leather covering is cracked and missing large sections. Tin is rusty and flaking. Buff leather carrying strap is tattered and torn. 3) Glass flask with leather cover. Missing the stopper. CONDITION: Very good. 988. BRASS BOUND WALNUT SHOOTER’S (?) BOX. 26-3/4" wide, 12-1/2" deep, 8-3/4" high. The lockable lid overlaps the sides of the case. The interior has one drawer and a covered compartment. CONDITION: Generally very good. The lid to the covered compartment has been broken. The key to the external lock is present, but the top is broken, making it difficult to work the lock. The interior key is missing. The broken pivot to the interior lid is present. A leather strap has been added to the lid to keep it from falling backwards. 4-42261 FS242 (250-350)

989. PAIR OF DECORATIVE MACHETTES. The 20" blades are etched on the left side with a running lion inside a fancy border. The horn scales are attached with five brass rivets. CONDITION: Both blades retain most of the plating on the plain side, but only traces on the decorated side. 990. LOT OF 2 FORGED IRON HATCHETS. 1. 7 1/4" x 3" blade with two iron rivets on the poll side, 16" hickory handle. CONDITION. Deeply pitter overall with flaw on one side at the eye. The handle is slightly loose. 2. 6 3/4" x 2 1/8", 19" hickory handle. CONDITION. Moderate cleaning but much deep pitting remains. 991. MISCELLANEOUS LOT. 1) 5" clip point Bowie-type knife, probably Continental. The stag grip has cast brass hunting scenes. The leather scabbard has engraved brass mounts. CONDITION: Brown and polished blade. The scabbard is slightly cracked but still sound. 2) 4" single blade folding knife with horn scales. CONDITION: Blade ground considerably. The bale has been replaced. Gray/brown patina mixed with light pitting. Some cracks and damage to the scales. 3) Rodgers two blade folding knife with 1-7/8" blades. White celluloid scales. CONDITION: Scattered spots of surface rust with pitting. Left scale is very dirty and slightly warped. 4) 3-3/4" wood umbrella handle carved in the shape of a horse’s head. 992. INDIAN STYLE KNIFE SHEATH. The 7-1/2" sheath with 6" plus fringe dangle is covered with loose lazy stitch beading. The yellow, blue, white and black beads are stitched in strings of 12 to 15 beads each. Appears to be 20th Century work. CONDITION: Very good with no apparent loss to beads. Some of the thongs on the dangle are broken off and missing. The hanging loop has come unstitched. 4-42430 FS29 (100-200)

993. LOT OF THREE BAYONETS. One Model 1873 with gold paint, one Model 1855 with scabbard, one US marked Ross. CONDITION: The first is covered with moderate rust. The second has light rust on socket, the blade is very good, the scabbard is torn and scratched. The Ross blade has been polished, but the hilt retains traced of blue under an overall rust coating, the scabbard is badly battered. 4-42371 FS11 (150-350)

995. LOT OF 3 CIVIL WAR PRINTS. 1) "Battle of Shiloh" 21-1/4" x 14-3/4", copyright 1888, American Lithographic Company. CONDITION: Has been rolled and has some resulting cracks. Small water stain, lower right, minor foxing. Frame is very good with some edge losses. 2) "The Battle of Kenesaw Mountain," 21-1/4" x 14-3/4", copyright 1887, American Lithographic Company. CONDITION: Slight cracks on right edge, otherwise fine. The frame has many scrapes. 3) "Battle of Gettysburg," 21-1/4" x 14-3/4", copyright 1887, Aquarelle facsimile print. CONDITION: Slight chipping along edges, otherwise fine. The frame has minor scratching on the outside and some loses to the gold leaf inner liner. 4-42361/4-42362 FS56 (300-500)

996. KIMMEL & FORSTER ABRAHAM LINCOLN PRINT. 21-1/2" x 28" print of Lincoln, Justice and Liberty surrounded by soldiers, citizens and cabinet members, dated 1861. There are some voids in the printing that indicate that this might not be an original print. CONDITION: Slight foxing, some minor scrapes. Frame has small loses on edges. 4-42360 FS55 (100-200)

998. 1812 PERIOD ARTILLERY HANGAR. 27-1/2" very curved blade, flat ground, 1-1/4" at the ricasso, iron handguard and backstrap with wide langettes and a single knuckle bow with ball quillion. The handle is leather wrapped with twisted copper wire. CONDITION: Fair, dark attic patina overall, traces of original etching on the blade, numerous heavy nicks in the cutting edge, wire wrap is loose and part of the leather covering worn away. 4-43023 JL384 (200-300)

999. EUROPEAN HEAVY INFANTRY SABER. 32-3/4" thick, heavy, slightly curved blade, 1-5/16" at the ricasso with single wide stopped fuller, iron handguard and backstrap with small hat shaped pommel cap, narrow langettes, single heavy knuckle bow with large ball quillion. Accompanied by its original iron scabbard with single hangar and ring. CONDITION: Good, blade is a medium gray patina, the iron handle a dark attic patina, good leather covering, missing one small section of the brass wire. The scabbard has a few dents, retains 15-20% original blue, with scattered light rust on the front side, heavy and red on the back. 4-43022 JL385 (150-250)

1000. CIVIL WAR ERA OFFICER’S DRESS SWORD. Made by M.C. Lilley & Co. with 29-3/4" narrow diamond shaped blade, with the maker’s name and address on the left ricasso and an animal stamped on the right ricasso. The blade has 3/4 etched decorations with trophies of arms, "US" and leaf and vine patterns. The left side identical with spread winged eagle, gold plated handguard with folding flap, missing the button and spring with lion head quillion, single knuckle bow and fish skin wrapped handle. Nickeled scabbard with gold plated hangar and throat. CONDITION: The blade polished bright with scattered light pitting, missing the wire wrap from the handle, retaining most of its original gold plating. The scabbard is missing the drag with bubbly nickel all over and scattered dark spots of rust. 4-43031 JL383 (150-250)

1001. METAL CIVIL WAR CANTEEN. Standard Civil War or Spanish American War issue canteen, 7-3/4" diameter, oval shaped body, with two strap loops, missing the bottom one, the body was painted black with red, white and blue checkerboard pattern. CONDITION: Fair, solder repair at the neck, spout slightly bent, both sides dented and dinged, open seam at the bottom, missing the strap loop, most of the black paint missing from one side with about 60-70% on the other. 4-43028 JL391 (25-50)

1002. PAIR OF "US" CAVALRY STIRRUPS. Standard iron stirrups, 5-7/8" high x 5-3/16" wide x 1-3/4" thick, with open bottoms, marked "US" on the bottom. One stirrup marked "AGS & Bros." and the other is "BM Co.". CONDITION: Very good, dark patina overall, with sharp edges and little wear. 4-43027 JL388 (100-200)

1004. FUSED CIVIL WAR, PROBABLY CONFEDERATE, CANNON BALL WITH SABOT. Iron cannonball shell casing with fuse hole in one spot and a welded plug in another area, about 5" diameter with an original wooden sabot that appears to be made from walnut. CONDITION: The hole is jagged and crusted with rust, the exterior has a very dark brown patina with moderate to heavy rust pitting. 4-43029 JL392 (100-200)

1005. PAIR OF US NAVY 7X50 BINOCULARS. Marked with Navy markings "Mark 32 Mod 1 by the National Instrument Corporation Houston Texas" and dated "1943". Ser. 282827.
