from the White House of the Confederacy, Jefferson Davis sold for $28,750

Rare Confederate flag referred to as "local defense flag" captured
in Richmond, April 3, 1865, and so inscribed on the flag by a 1st Lt. in the
81st New York volunteers sold for $43,125. An assortment of six identified
Confederate canteens, including one "local defense canteen captured from
the 3rd Battalion captured in Richmond, Virginia." Also, carved canteen
taken a Ft. Blakely, April 9, 1865 sold for $12,075, ex. General Fox
collection.

Knights of Pythias sword that belonged to W.A. Wheeler (Vice President under
Hayes) sold for $1,150. They won the electoral votes by a slim margin,

Impt. historical insc. Henry by ...Capt. Jas. Willson (Wilson) Co. M. 12th Ky Cav. Willson was a rebel fighter who in one incident killed 7 rebel guerrillas with his Henry. O.F. Winchester made much of the incident in promoting his Henrys and Willson was instrumental in acquiring Henrys for the Ky Cav.
